Hi there — I’m Jen Ventures, author of Lost in Atlanta, my debut novel and the beginning of a journey I’ve dreamed about for as long as I can remember.

I’m an avid writer, lifelong reader, and curious soul who’s always chasing stories — whether they’re unfolding on the page, in the mountains, or right in my backyard. I live in a cozy corner of southeastern North Carolina, where I share life with a flock of chickens, a pack of lovable dogs, and a garden that somehow survives both my enthusiasm and occasional neglect.

When I’m not writing or buried in a good book, you can usually find me snowboarding, digging in the dirt, or enjoying my morning coffee on the beach. The mountains and the coast both feel like home to me, and I try to capture that balance of wildness and warmth in everything I write.

Lost in Atlanta is a story that’s close to my heart — part escape, part discovery, and entirely rooted in the beautiful mess of being human. I wrote it for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost or out of place, and I hope it finds the readers who need it most.
